meet my newest obsession: lush coal face

i’m a nutcase about my skin for some reason. i’ve never had serious acne aside from a brief period of time in college when i had cystic acne, which you can really only feel and not see. regardless, i’m a total perfectionist about my skin because i’m a little OCD. so anything that will perfect it and make it glow is worth it to me. so i got the clarisonic a few years ago and used it daily. it cleans your face 6x better than your hands and actually makes your expensive skincare products work the way they should allowing more penetration in your pores. it didn’t change my life but i felt better every night after knowing how well i cleansed my face - plus i figured it would allow my retinols to work better. i’m so sick of buying replacement brushes at $25 a pop every 3 months so i went on a hunt for a different cleanser. someone told me about lush coal face. i already knew that coal is one of the strongest natural magnets you can find (remember all those science experiments as a kid?) but was intrigued when my friend told me it legit sucks everything out of your pores in 5 seconds. so i tried a sample that they gave me and i was sold. i’m OBSESSED. it’s changed my life in skincare. i love the brand because it’s so natural and gives back to the community but now i love them more because of theirbold innovation. who’d have thought…coal? it’s such a quick wash, it feels and smells amazing (remember that it really is coal so if you have an aversion to that smell maybe reconsider..) it’s WAY less work & upkeep than the clarisonic and it actually DOES suck the crap out of your pores and brightens your complexion. i feel like a spokesperson - in my dreams that they’d pay me for this - but i’m telling you that if you’re looking for a quick easy face cleanser and have normal to oily skin, or even combo skin, try this. i bought a chunk for my dad too and he loves it. check it out here.
